  3. Do not use respirator when concentrations of contaminants are immediately dangerous to life or health.
  4. Examine all the respirator parts for signs of damage including the two ear loops and nose wire.
  5. Replace if respirator or ear loops show any signs of damage or deterioration.
  6. Discard and replace the respirator if it becomes damaged or breathing resistance becomes excessive. Discard the respirator if it is wet or dirty on the inside.
  7. Do not alter, wash, abuse or misuse the respirator.
  8. A deformed respirator may not fit properly. Replace if it is deformed or damaged. Especially pay more attention when the wearer is biking, running or conducting other activities.
  1. Use of this respirator requires shaving beards or other facial hair to ensure a good fit. Some types of facial hair are acceptable as long as the facial hair does not lie along the sealing area of the respirator.
  2. The respirator can be used up to the limits specified by applicable government regulations for this product.
  3. Please ensure that the edges of the nose wire are not sharp. Outside forces acting upon it may result in skin damage.

Shelf life of unopened product is 5 years from date of manufacture when stored within a temperature range of 18°C to 21°C and at less than 60% relative humidity.

Fitting Instructions

  1. Hold the respirator by the ear loop strap in each hand with the nose wire up, facing away from you.
  2. Position the respirator under the chin with nose wire facing upwards.
  3. Pull each ear loop strap over each ear.
  4. Using two hands, mold the nose wire to the shape of your nose bridge by pushing inwards while moving your fingertips down both sides of the nose wire. It is very important to press the nose wire firmly to the nose bridge to form a good seal. Using only one hand may result in less effective respirator fit.
  5. Please, check the seal of the respirator on the face prior to entering the work area.
    1. Place both hands completely over the respirator and exhale sharply.
    2. If air leaks around the nose, readjust the nose wire as described in step 4. If air leaks at the respirator edges, re-adjust the ear loop straps along the sides of your head until a proper seal is achieved. If you CANNOT achieve a proper seal, DO NOT enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor.
    3. If no leakage is detected, then work may proceed.
